This type of razor is generally bulkier than manual razors and can pose a challenge shaving the finely detailed bikini area.

In my opinion, if doing the bikini area, then a wet shaver would make the best hair trimmer for the bikini area.

As for legs, it will do its job, but remember even with the best bikini electric razor, you will never get as smooth a shave as with a manual razor.

If you’re sensitive to pain, stick to painless methods (just look at my Pain-o-Meter as a guide) and stay away from this. Anything that pulls hair from the root is painful but the result is really stunning (it’s the best bikini hair removal method for me albeit being a bit of torture).

I personally prefer going to the salon for my Brazilian, as I tried waxing myself before and I still wince to this day as I recall myself crying, screaming and bleeding (guess I can’t get up the courage to pull the wax off and be the one that causes myself pain).

1. Check for Any Allergic Reaction

I must note, that this method made me prone to ingrown hair bumps. I’d honestly stick with waxing if I’m going to subject myself to pain anyway.

Your first time epilating the bikini area will take some time, plus, the hair is coarse and hard to remove. The best epilator for bikini will probably be a corded model because they have an unlimited supply of power and are usually stronger and pull coarse hair well.

You don’t want your hand getting tired and there is not a ton of surface area in the pubic region, so you don’t need a lot of tweezers. You need to get around small, curved areas, so an epilator with a smaller epilating field will be better.

Treat it with a good Hydrocortisone cream or by applying cold compress on the area.
