If you’re new to hair removal, you’re probably not that well accustomed to the pain that comes with it. I’m talking about the pain caused by waxing, epilating and some other odd gadgets that pull hair from the roots.
You’re probably looking for the most painless yet efficient way to get rid of your unwanted hair.
These days your available choices for painless hair removal would either be getting the chemical-laden depilatory cream or the natural, fast and safe route – through shaving.
Not all shavers are created the same though. There are tons of disposables, safety razors, and electric shavers in the market and out of all three, electric shavers are the safest in terms of avoiding nicks and cuts.
One brand of electric shaver shook the world when they amped up their electric shaver game by creating a compact electric shaver for the face and recently, they launched the newest addition to their family – electric shaver for the legs.
But, does it really deliver? Is it worth the hype?
Stick around to find out my brutally honest Finishing Touch Flawless Legs review.

Pros
- Looks and feels luxurious (oh hello, 18K Gold plated heads!).
- Easy to handle and control with its “Palm Perfect Design”.
- Easy to operate with one touch of a button.
- Cordless and rechargeable (1 rechargeable battery included).
- Has a built-in light for a more precise and guided shave.
- Safe for all skin types and guaranteed no nicks and cuts.
- Does not require water nor soap to prep the skin (just when I thought dry shaving is bad, this breaks that notion!).

Cons
- Crazy expensive for an electric shaver.
- Can still cause stubbles on some people. I guess it still depends on how coarse the hair is and the direction it grows.

- Cannot be used wet.
THE HONEST Finishing Touch Flawless Legs Review
Let’s go over some frequently asked questions with answers, as well as specifications of this device.
What is Finishing Touch Flawless Legs? Is ‘Flawless Legs’ a Razor?
Finishing Touch Flawless Legs is an electric shaver ergonomically designed to fit the palm of your hand and carefully crafted to conform to the contours of your legs for a close, even shave.
It comes with 4 gold plated heads that work super-fast in shaving bigger areas like your legs. Although it says “Flawless Legs” I find that this can also be used in removing arm hair.
I don’t find it safe to use on the face (they have a separate product for that!), brows (unless you’re aiming for the alien look) and bikini line because of its size plus the level of control and precision required for those areas.
How Does ‘Flawless Legs’ Work?
Most electric shavers only have 3 rotating heads that are arranged in a triangular pattern. Flawless Legs has 4 of these rotating heads for more efficiency and coverage.
These heads are made up of two components. A rotating safety cap to lift hair while protecting the skin from the underlying component which is the rotating blade.
Powered by one rechargeable AA battery, this device provides the legs with the smoothest and closest shave you’ll ever have (compared to using disposable razors).
A word of caution though for people with uber sensitive skin and those prone to getting ingrown hairs and bumps, this might worsen your skin condition.
As opposed to its claim of being safe for all skin types, I think it suits those who have normal skin and fine hair more compared to those with sensitive skin or coarse, dark and curly unwanted hair.
How to Use Finishing Touch?
Using the finishing touch is relatively easy! Just follow these Finishing Touch Flawless instructions and you’re on your merry way to sexy, smooth legs! Summer, here we come!
1. Check if Your Device has Power
Your unit comes with a pre-charged battery and is ready for you to use upon arrival.
Otherwise, you may also charge the unit using the cable provided in your kit (red light means your unit is charging while green means it’s fully charged).
Warning: Do not use while plugged. Electrocution and severe burns do not look good on you.
2. Remove the Clear Safety Cover and Press the Power Button
The unit comes with a safety cover to protect the rotating heads during travel and against dust and humidity that may affect the blade’s performance.
3. Give It a Whirl!
Start shaving your legs right away. No prep needed. Do not use oil, shaving cream, foam, soap, etc. as this product is not meant to be used wet!
Also, shave in a circular motion. The design of this product is meant for that.
How Do You Clean a Finishing Touch Razor?
Cleaning the razor is important after every use. Just like operating the device, cleaning is also easy peasy. To do so just follow these steps:
- Ensure the unit is turned off and unplugged.
- Remove the rotating head from the unit.
- Empty the clippings in the trash bin. If needed, use the cleaning brush included in your box to thoroughly clean your unit and ta-dah! Ready for the next use!
How Do You Change the Battery in a Finishing Touch?
The AA rechargeable battery is built in the unit. If for some reason, the battery is not charging or drains too quickly, you may contact Finishing Touch via email for further instructions on what to do with the battery or for a possible replacement (if within the guarantee period).
Are Flawless Legs Replacement Heads Available for Purchase?
Yes! Replacement heads are now available!
Finishing Touch Flawless Legs Replacement Head
It is recommended to change the rotating heads every 3-6 months for maximum efficiency and result.
Putting It All Together
I want to wrap up this Finishing Touch Flawless Legs review by saying that this is a good product with some opportunities for improvement.
At the moment I would highly recommend it for people with normal skin and hair type provided that your hair is no more than 3 cm long as anything longer than that may cause the device to pull your hair causing a great deal of pain.
I won’t recommend it for people with sensitive skin as dry shaving may leave your skin raw or you may incur some nasty razor burns from all that friction.
If this device could be used with shaving products (gels, creams, etc.), then it may be kinder for people with sensitive skin (that is one thing they can improve on).
I also won’t recommend it to people with dark, curly and coarse unwanted hair as this might make you prone to getting ingrown hair and dark bumps.
Hope this review opened your eyes and helped you decide whether or not you’d pursue buying this great product.
