Lately, I’ve been bothered by some acne scars that I got from previous PMS, looking closely at the mirror I noticed a few more things that need fine tuning: large pores and some fine lines.
*Gasp* I’m getting old!
I know it’s inevitable, we’ll all get there, but caring for your skin doesn’t hurt either.
I feel I’m quite young for Botox (and getting plastic surgery is a drastic measure).
So, I tried searching for home treatments that are more natural and that’s when I stumbled on this GloPRO micro-needling tool.
I hurriedly checked out the best GloPRO micro-needling review to see if this may be the answer to my skin woes (and yours too!). I was blown!
But of course, before I recommend them to Y’all let’s find out more info about the whole micro-needling process and the product itself.

What is Microneedling?
Microneedling is the process of improving collagen and tissue production by using a tool called the Dermaroller.
This tool features tiny needles that gently massage and prick the skin so that new collagen and tissue rushes and forms on the treatment area to repair the damage.
The result? Firmer and smoother looking skin.
It is considered to be more affordable and less invasive compared to Botox and cosmetic surgery in terms of improving the appearance of wrinkles and fine lines. Microneedling can be used on the face, body and yes, even to plump up those luscious lips!
It’s highly recommended for people who want to get rid of scars, wrinkles, stretch marks, and large pores. As a bonus, it makes your beauty products more effective than before as it can penetrate deeper at a level where it’s supposed to work! Awesome!
Is GloPRO Worth It?
With tons of positive GloPRO microneedling reviews, it’s no wonder this miracle tool has changed the lives of many.
Beauty Bio, the manufacturer of GloPRO, really amped up the powers of the plain ol’ dermaroller by adding the following features: vibration, red LED lights, and interchangeable heads.
All of which helps multiply the efficacy of the derma roller needles while ensuring a comfortable treatment experience.
While the original head attachment is already multipurpose on its own (you can use it on your face and body), separate attachment heads can also be purchased to target specific areas of your face and body for optimal results such as: a slimmer head for under eyes, a lip plumper attachment and a wider head for your body.
Overall, I find GloPRO totally worth its price. It’s still much cheaper compared to in-office treatments and yet as effective!
How to Use GloPRO
Thanks to the amazing inventors of this product, GloPRO runs on either battery (provided on initial purchase) and power cord – yes, you can use it even when plugged to an outlet!
Why am I saying this? Because the first step in using your GloPRO is to ensure it has power!
Second, use the Sanitizing Spritzer bottle (fill it up with your own Isopropyl Alcohol) and spray it all over the roller to ensure it is clean before it even touches your skin.
Now, before you even press that Power button and start using the roller, make sure that you have prepped your skin. How? Read on.
Pre-Microneedling Prep
How should I prep my skin prior to treatment? Which products should I use? <– Relax, I’ve got you covered.
There are important things to consider a few days, weeks or even months before starting your microneedling treatment, they are as follows:
6 months Before treatment
- Avoid taking anti-acne medications such as Accutane.
Two Weeks Before Treatment
- Avoid laser procedures such as (IPL, Fraxel, etc.).
- Avoid unprotected sun exposure or getting sunburns.
A Week Before Treatment
- Stop using topical solutions that may cause your skin to be extra sensitive (such as Retinoids, exfoliating products, antibiotics, and acids).
- Do not wax, epilate or use depilatory creams.
- Avoid blood-thinning medications (always consult your GP for alternatives).
A Few Days Before Treatment
- Stop taking anti-inflammatory drugs (like Motrin, ibuprofen or Advil).
A Day Before Treatment
- If shaving is necessary to get the best results, do this a day prior to treatment and not on the day itself.
During Treatment Day
Having a clean face is important when using the GloPRO (or any dermaroller). You wouldn’t want to embed dirt and makeup as the needles prick you and that might lead to infection, which will do more harm than good.
The following products and steps help prepare your skin for microneedling.
Makeup wearers can start from Step 1. Don’t wear makeup? Start with Step 2!
1. Remove Makeup with an Oil-Based Cleanser of Your Choice
I personally prefer either Banila Co’s Clean It Zero or Kao Biore’s Cleansing Oil.
Both work great in melting even waterproof makeup. Just massage it on your face in a circular motion until makeup is thoroughly melted before rinsing it with water.

2. Wash Your Face With Your Fave Cleanser
Alternatively, you can also use BeautyBio’s the Balance pH Balancing Facial Cleanser.
It’s perfect for all skin types and is non-drying compared to some cleansers which leave your skin feeling tight (tight=dry).
3. Use the Prep Pad that Comes With Your Kit
If you don’t have one, then it can also be purchased separately.
Works in three ways by clarifying, cleansing and conditioning your skin in preparation for microneedling. Gently wipe this alcohol free pad in an upward motion and watch deeply seated dirt come off of your face (even after double cleansing!).
Here are the GloPRO prep pads:

Now that you have thoroughly cleaned and prepped your skin, you can now start using your GloPRO!
It just takes 60 seconds of treatment, thrice a week to start Glo-ing!
Just remember to roll the device on your face a few times vertically (using upward strokes), horizontally and diagonally for optimal results!
Post-Microneedling Care
So, you’re done with your first treatment. Your skin is probably a bit red and tingly at the moment – good signs that the product is working and that your body is sending collagen over that area. That’s normal.
Now is the right time to use serums and essences as your skin can absorb them better and increase their efficacy.
Aside from this, here are some do’s and don’ts to keep in mind after treatment.
Do
- Spray your GloPRO head with the Sanitizing Spritzer to clean it for your next use.
- Avoid acid based serums and essences such as those that contain AHA (Alpha Hydroxy Acid) and/or Benzoyl Peroxide.
- Wear a hat or use an umbrella to protect your skin from direct sunlight.
- Use BeautyBio’s The Nightly serum or your fave serum provided it doesn’t contain the above-mentioned ingredients. A great and cheaper alternative to The Nightly is Foxbrim Natural’s Boost Peptide Serum. Both serums contain peptides and Hyaluronic Acid which are vital in reversing wrinkles.

Don’t
- Take anti-inflammatory meds or painkillers (such as Tylenol) for at least a week after the procedure.
- Run ice on your face as this may hinder your skin’s natural healing which is vital for collagen production.
- Tan or expose yourself in direct sunlight for 2 weeks after your initial treatment. You may use sunblock (SPF 24 or higher), 24 hours after treatment should you need to step outside.

Now that you are fully aware of what microneedling is all about and the preparation needed prior to starting treatment, let’s move on to my very own BeautyBio GloPRO microneedling review.
The Review
GLOPRO MICRONEEDLING REGENERATION TOOL
Bothered by fine lines, acne scars, and large pores? If you’re considering Botox and other harsh lasers to get rid of these skin woes, give this handy dandy tool a whirl, it may just change your life!
It’s less invasive, with needles’ tips as small as .3 mm. you’ll surely feel no pain, just a relaxing vibration that keeps your blood circulating, flooding your skin layers with much-needed nutrients and collagen.
Easy to use and no downtime, with interchangeable heads to boot, there’s surely one that you can use for whichever part of your body that you may please because great skin not only belongs to the face, right?
Pros
- Cordless and sleek design (can be used corded too!).
- Easy to use.
- Needles are nearly painless (depends on your pain tolerance, applied pressure and on the area being treated, bony parts like forehead and cheekbones may sting a bit).
- LED lights and vibration for increased efficacy.
- Comes with a cap, prep wipes and sanitizing spray bottle.
Cons
- Expensive compared to other dermarollers, but this one is made with really good quality, I have no qualms getting this one. Roller heads must be replaced every 3-4 months for hygiene purposes and maximum efficiency which adds up to the $$$.
Putting it All Together
Microneedling is not for the faint of heart. If you hate the thought of needles prickling your face or are sensitive to pain, then this is not recommended for you.
But if you’re one of those people who believes that to achieve beauty, there must be an equal amount of sacrifice, then I hope this GloPRO microneedling review helped you decide to push for this treatment.
I personally, would choose this over using scary lasers and chemical peels. I find this a more natural and less expensive approach to improving your skin.
If you’re still undecided, feel free to check out additional BeautyBio GloPRO reviews and feedback.
